What Is LumiCleanse?
LumiCleanse is a therapy that uses biophotonics – the interaction of light with biological systems to combat acne. A special LumiCleanse gel is applied to your skin. It converts light from a multi-LED lamp into different colour wavelengths that penetrate the skin, stimulate healing, and fight acne.
LumiCleanse is designed for clients with moderate to severe acne that are looking for a drug-free solution to their acne. In clinical trials, over 80% of patients saw inflammatory lesions decrease by 40% or more and over 90% of patients who had significant improvements maintained these results for at least 6 months.

How long is a Lumicleanse treatment?
A full treatment usually requires 12 sessions, performed twice a week over a period of 6 weeks. Each session lasts between 15-20 minutes.

The cost of a full treatment package of 12 LumiCleanse sessions is $1,800. Special financing with low monthly payments is available.

What body parts can be treated with LumiCleanse?
LumiCleanse can be used on the face as well as the back to treat acne.
Is sun exposure allowed after treatment?
There is no contraindication for LumiCleanse related to sun exposure. Persons taking certain drugs or products known to induce severe photosensitivity reactions, or who have conditions that trigger these same reactions, should not be treated with LumiCleanse. Between LumiCleanse treatment sessions, it is advised to use a moisturizing hypoallergenic lotion with sun protection every morning, as well as a hypoallergenic moisturizing face wash.
What is the difference LumiCleanse and other acne facial treatments?
Victoria Park Medispa offers two facial treatments for clients with acne and blemishes – LumiCleanse and SilkPeel Dermalinfusion for Acne. LumiCleanse is an eight-week biophotonic treatment for patients with moderate to severe acne. SilkPeel is a great facial treatment for mild to moderate acne, to cleanse and infuse the skin. We even sometimes precede a LumiCleanse regimen with a SilkPeel Dermalinfusion to prepare the skin.
