Dr. Erik Hegmann

Dr. Hegmann is a family physician, focusing on cosmetic and laser medicine in Kanata since 2004. Patients appreciate his friendly and professional demeanour, and his gentle, meticulous approach to his treatments has made him one of the leading cosmetic injectors in the Ottawa area.
Prior to entering medicine, Dr. Hegmann earned a Master of Science degree, specializing in cancer research, from Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Facility. While working on his Master’s degree, he published several articles and traveled extensively to present his research findings. He then enrolled in the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine, graduating with honours in 1996 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Scarborough General Hospital.
