Ultherapy Facial Skin Lifting at our clinic Montreal East.

Non-invasive solution
Firmer skin and facelift-like results without a scalpel or needles

Sagging, loose skin on the face, neck, and décolletage is a fact of life and part of the aging process. One of the more common ways to address this is through a facelift. But these can be intrusive and costly—and that’s saying nothing of the downtime. Ultherapy skin tightening is a non-invasive ultrasound treatment. It allows you to benefit from facial rejuvenation without surgery. It’s a non-surgical, non-invasive solution to achieve a more lifted look and firmer skin, without any of the drawbacks related to surgical procedures.

Ultherapy uses 2 forms of ultrasound technology to simultaneously see an image of your skin and deliver treatment ultrasound energy to the deepest layers of your skin. At Victoria Park Medispa, we offer two distinct treatment options. First, there’s traditional Ultherapy: traditional ultherapy treats both deeply and superficially, to the same depth that plastic surgeons address in a facelift. Through non-invasive ultrasound therapy, we can lift the neck, chin and brow; and improve lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. This is best-suited for patients aged 35 and older.

Ultherapy Boost, on the other hand, a treatment that delivers ultrasound energy to the skin at a more superficial level. It’s a great option for clients in their mid 20s and 30s who want to take a proactive approach and address early signs of aging at a more reasonable price. Ultherapy is an exceptional first step in skin rejuvenation and an in-demand alternative to facelift surgery.

Technology

Ultherapy harnesses the power of ultrasound technology to stimulate collagen production within the body. Your Victoria Park Medispa expert will identify the treatment area and distribute the non-invasive ultrasound area over the tissue treatment area.

The result? Natural-looking skin tightening, toning, and lifting without surgery or downtime at a more superficial level. Through non-invasive ultrasound therapy, we can lift the neck, chin and brow; and improve lines and wrinkles on the upper chest in 90-120 minutes, sometimes longer. Beyond that, Ultherapy is an incredibly popular choice for achieving a “snatched jawline”. Because there’s no cutting or surgery involved with the treatment, patients who have sagging jowls often turn to this ultrasound treatment to create the effect of a more defined and sharply contoured jawline.

With ultrasound imaging, our laser technicians can see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring treatment is delivered to where it will be most beneficial. At Victoria Park Medispa, no two treatments are alike: the technician customizes every treatment for each individual patient. BEFORE THE TREATMENT

Want to know if Ultherapy facial skin tightening is right for you? The best way to find out is by speaking to one of our Victoria Park Medispa experts. They can help you learn about ultrasound skin tightening and its effectiveness—and whether it’s right for you.

DURING THE TREATMENT

For the most part, patients say that Ultherapy treatments don’t hurt. However, you may experience some discomfort while the energy is being delivered—but most patients find it more than tolerable. We always take every step imaginable to ensure the experience is pleasant as possible. For the most part, our clients leave our chair comfortable and delighted with their results.

After THE TREATMENT

Though results may vary, some patients start to see as soon as 1 month post treatment, and will see full results in 3 to 6 months. But the majority of lifting and toning takes place over three to six months following treatment as new collagen forms. It can sometimes take anywhere from three to six months to see the final outcome. We recommend for patients to come back every year, or maximum two years, for best results. And don’t forget: sunscreen and prevention are always recommended

Related conditions

As one of the more cost-effective and non-invasive non-surgical facelift options out there, Ultherapy can deliver favourable results. Some of the most common traditional Ultherapy treatment areas include:

  • Reducing fine lines on the neck
  • Improving your jawline contour
  • Tightening the neck skin
  • Firming up skin on the chin and brow
  • Lines, wrinkles, and creases on the upper chest

Ultherapy Boost, on the other hand, can treat:

  • Fine lines
  • Lack of definition
  • Uneven texture on the lower half of your face and neck

However, Ultherapy Boost is not recommended for the brow or on the upper portion of the face. To complement these non-invasive skin lifting treatments, both Ultherapy options can be combined with other non-invasive solutions such as Forever Young BBL™, Halo and injectable treatments to deliver a more youthful appearance.

FAQ

Got questions about Ultherapy? We’ve got your answers here

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy or Ultherapy Boost?

A good candidate for Ultherapy is someone with skin that has some degree of laxity, to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. A lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of “maturing” skin. Loose skin under the neck and under the chin signals a patient might be a candidate. Typically, those in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates.

With this treatment, you’ll discover maintaining youthful skin after 30 is possible. Younger patients—as young as 25—who want to stay ahead of the game are great candidates for Ultherapy Boost.

Ultherapy treatment is a non-surgical alternative for a surgical face lift. Anyone interested in a lift but who may not be ready for surgery, either mentally, physically or financially, should speak to one of our technicians to discuss Ultherapy, the non-surgical face lift. Those looking to prolong the effects of a cosmetic surgery should also be considered as candidates.

How long do Ultherapy and Ultherapy Boost results last?

Patients treated with Ultherapy still have rejuvenated collagen after a year’s time following the procedure, but skin continues to age. Future touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process, which varies by individual.

Are there any side effects?

There may be slight redness for up to an hour following the treatment, as well as slight swelling or tenderness to touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature. Temporary welts, sometimes called “cat scratches”, can also appear post-treatment and last for up to 48 hours. There can be tenderness, sensitivity, and numbness for up to 6 weeks post treatment.
