What Is Forever Young BBL?
Forever Young BBL is an advanced IPL photorejuvenation treatment that uses broadband light to rejuvenate skin and reduce pigmentation. Studies have shown1 that regular treatment with Forever Young BBL caused patients to look ten years younger than their average age.
Forever Young BBL emits short bursts of high-intensity light to penetrate just below the skin’s surface, targeting either the melanin that makes up brown spots or the blood vessels that create broken capillaries. How long is a BBL laser treatment?
A treatment generally is three sessions of 15 to 30 minutes, once every four weeks.
How does BBL feel?
Most clients describe the sensation of similar to the light snap of an elastic band against the skin several times during treatment. Though some clients experience temporary darkening of some brown spots and minimal redness for 48 hours, most clients experience no downtime following treatment.
How much does BBL laser cost?
The cost of a treatment with BBL Forever Young starts at $265 per treatment, depending on the area treated, with special financing available.
How soon can I see results?
Results generally start showing a week after the first session and progressively develop with each treatment

How long does a treatment last?
Forever Young BBL has benefits for both pigmentation and skin rejuvenation with improved tone, brightness, clarity and reduction of fine lines. As the skin naturally ages, many of our clients keep a maintenance regime over the year for skin rejuvenation benefits. For pigmentation, results can be permanent if clients avoid sun exposure or are not susceptible to pigmentation. Some pigmentation clients also return for maintenance treatment every year or two.
What is the difference between Forever Young BBL and Intense Pulsed Light Treatment (IPL)?
Forever Young BBL is a more advanced version of the popular Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment. Victoria Park Medispa had one of the first IPL units in Canada before upgrading to Forever Young BBL.
Can BBL or IPL be used for hair removal?
BBL and IPL treatments have been shown to have benefits for hair removal and some clinics use their IPL or BBL machines for hair removal.
However, we have found that our specialized laser hair removal machines have the best result. Therefore, we have a separate machine, the GentleMAX PRO, dedicated to hair removal treatments.
