Before THE TREATMENT
Yes, you can achieve fuller lips without surgery! At your in-person consultation, your Victoria Park Medispa expert will determine what lip augmentation procedure and which lip filler options are right for you, based on your aspirations. Your expert will discuss your desired outcome and may even conduct a lip filler brand comparison to decide what’s best.
During THE TREATMENT
During your treatment, your nurse injector will first apply a numbing product—typically a topical lidocaine cream—to the surface of and areas surrounding your lips. This can help offset any pain experienced while the product is injected into the lip area. For the most part, patients say that treatment is relatively pain-free, but this will depend on your individual pain threshold.
After THE TREATMENT
Immediately after treatment, your Victoria Park Mediaspa expert will hand you a cold compress to help minimize inflammation and promote a faster recovery. Some swelling, bruising, and sensitivity is completely normal and can be expected immediately following treatment. These symptoms should subside after a few days as your lips begin to settle. If you notice any unusual symptoms or are experiencing pain that won’t go away, we recommend you contact us immediately. Lip enhancement safety is something we take extremely seriously. As with any treatment, lip filler longevity is largely determined on the type of product used and how quickly your body metabolizes filler.
