Accounting Manager

We are a growing accounting team.  As the Accounting Manager you have the ability to establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.  Reporting to the Accounting Director, the ideal candidate will have prior work experience in a multi company environment in retail or the medical service industry. You have the ability to multitask and are hardworking and tenacious. You are a team player and have an understanding of the entrepreneurial spirit!

Responsibilities include: 

  • Lead a team of 6 professional accountants
  • Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements with documentation
  • Prepare post journal entries and accruals to the general ledger
  • Review monthly bank reconciliations
  • Validate and balance monthly all balance sheet accounts with reconciliations
  • Analyzing all P&L accounts and explaining variations
  • Create schedules for new loans
  • Perform monthly inventory cost analysis
  • Prepare month end financial statements for affiliated companies
  • Prepare year-end financial statement packages for external accountants
  • Prepare quarterly GST-QST remittances
  • Regular correspondence with various government agencies
  • Define and document work procedures and processes
  • Participate in on going special projects

Requirements: 

  • Postsecondary degree in Accounting with CPA Professional Title
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, MS Excel, Sage and Word
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines

We are seeking an Accountant to join our growing team! Under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, the successful candidate will work with large amounts of numerical data, handle a variety of tasks within deadlines, and provide management with transparent and complete reports. You will have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting weekly sales analyses
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for various companies
  • Support the accounts payable department
  • Monthly and quarterly reconciliations of ledgers and month-end closing
  • Prepare financial statements for subsidiary companies

Requirements:

Regional Marketing Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Regional Marketing Coordinator to ensure the outreach and visibility of our clinics in the Outaouais region, as well as for our private cosmetic brand, MD Formula. 

Job Summary: 

Under the supervision of the Regional Director and the Marketing Director, the candidate will be responsible for: 

  • Planning and creating marketing campaigns (Adwords, radio, newsletters, television, Facebook Ads) for the Victoria Park Medispa clinics in Gatineau and Ottawa and for the private brand of Victoria Park products. 
  • Collaborate with the national marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions. 
  • Writing search engine optimized content. 
  • Participate in the development of the brand image of our new product line. 
  • Organize events for promotional and launch purposes. 
  • Manage an online shop. 
  • Collaborate in various public relations and marketing activities. 
  • Create questionnaires, surveys and conduct focus groups. 
  • Assist in the creation of training manuals.

The ideal candidate has :

Distribution and Logistics Coordinator

The Distribution and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that our Victoria Park Lab boutiques are stocked in a timely and accurate manner. You will work under the supervision of the MD Formula x Victoria Park Lab Brand Manager, and in close collaboration with the Store Managers, Retail Director and Victoria Park Inventory Specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date inventory records of products, raw materials, and packaging for Victoria Park skin care lines.
  • Coordinate with inventory specialists for the purchase orders of raw materials and packaging along with other skin care products carried in Victoria Park Skin Care boutiques
  • Prepare shipping orders and invoices andensure proper flow of shipment to all locations
  • Advise on any delays of issues related to shipping and/or product inventory
  • Ensure compliance with company’s safety policies and/or procedures
  • Participatein other special projects as related to skin care products production and laboratory work

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and/or previous experience in organizing, receiving, and distributing warehouse items.
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Must hold a valid driver’s licence with demonstrated record of safe driving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Strong time management skillsand ability to multitask and think outside the box
  • Flexibility tooccasionally work overtime with short notice.
  • Available Monday to Friday – 20 to 30 hours per week

Surgical Nurse

We are searching for a Surgical Nurse to work within our surgical facility in our clinic in Longueuil.

Candidates must be available to work part-time: two days a week on Wednesdays, and either Tuesday or Friday (10-hour shifts).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assess patients prior to surgery and alleviate any concerns
  • Ensure supplies required for surgical procedures are stocked in OR and reviewed with surgeon prior to start of procedures.
  • Responsible to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and proper sterilization of OR
  • Assist physician with positioning and preparing patient for surgery inside OR
  • Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
  • Monitor patient’s vital signs
  • Evaluate patient in postoperative phases

  • Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned

Medispa Technician

Victoria Park offers the best in Medispa services from our 17 locations across Canada. All of our clinics are led by plastic surgeons and/or dermatologists, where we provide the latest in technology, practices, and products. We are looking for an outstanding Medispa Technician to join our Peterborough team!

As a Medispa Technician service provider, you will provide treatments that will include laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, IPL, Chemical Peels, Exilis, microdermabrasion, and fractional lasers.  If you have experience as a medical aesthetician and are interested in joining a team that is cutting edge, innovative, highly educated, and dedicated we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing client consultations on all treatments offered.
  • Delivery of treatments to Victoria Park standards.
  • Sales and application of appropriate skincare products.
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of Victoria Park products, services, and promotions and actively promoting these with appropriate Victoria Park clients.
  • Upholding the standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety as directed by law and the facility’s policies and procedures.
  • Performing prep work, properly and restocking rooms as required.
  • Handling client’s questions, concerns, and requests professionally and courteously ensuring complete client satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and contributing towards a quality work environment with team spirit.
  • Assisting in all areas of operation as requested by management.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Certification in esthetics
  • Background medical aesthetics
  • Certification in laser training
