What is the O-Shot and how does it work?

The O-Shot, or orgasm-shot, is a treatment that uses your own blood-derived growth factors to restore and enhance sexual pleasure. If you’re a woman who suffers from diminished sensitivity, difficulty in achieving orgasm or want stronger orgasms, the O-Shot, which we offer in the greater Montreal area, may be a solution for you.

Following a simple blood draw, the platelets and plasma in your blood, which are rich in growth factors, are separated and injected into the clitoris and adjacent tissues. The growth factors are responsible for jump-starting cellular repair and can promote the formation of new collagen, blood vessels and nerve endings in the clitoris.

The O-Shot is a safe and painless procedure which takes less than 20 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia using a numbing cream.

The O-Shot can help with:

  • Greater arousal from clitoral stimulation
  • Increased natural lubrication
  • Stronger, more frequent orgasms

What you may not know…

Some women have difficulty achieving or never achieve clitoral orgasm despite stimulation.

Clitoral erection occurs when the corpora cavernosa and the bulb of vestibule become engorged with blood during sexual arousal and stimulation, resulting in orgasm. Orgasms can vary in intensity, and women vary in the amount of stimulation needed to trigger orgasm.

Orgasms can diminish with age, certain medical or gynecological conditions, or because of certain medications. Some women have difficulty achieving or never achieve clitoral orgasm despite stimulation. The O-Shot is a technique to treat this condition and also to enhance orgasms for women with normal sexual function.

Not only are the orgasms bigger, but they are longer and I have more of them. I would definitely recommend it. It has been absolutely AMAZING these past few weeks.

Get Started

How long does an O-Shot treatment take?

The O-Shot is a non-surgical procedure performed in our medispas that lasts approximately 20 minutes, however the injection itself takes less than a minute.

What can I expect during the treatment?

Our nurse will first perform a simple blood draw, similar to a routine blood test. They will then use a centrifuge to isolate the growth factors from the rest of your blood. You then will receive a topical anesthetic to apply to the region of the clitoris.

Once the local anesthesia has taken effect, your doctor will inject the growth factors into and adjacent to your clitoris. The injections take less than a minute, and you may experience mild discomfort immediately afterward.

How do I get started?

A consultation with Dr. Karen Buzaglo, gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist in the Greater Montreal Area, which includes a comprehensive gynecological exam, is $360. A consultation with any other Victoria Park Medispa doctor ranges between $125 and $225.
