ClearSilk Laser

Non-invasive solution

If you’ve been searching for a gentle, effective treatment that revives your skin’s clarity and natural radiance without the commitment of downtime, the Sciton ClearSilk laser is a refined solution. Ideal for those experiencing persistent redness, sensitivity, uneven skin tone, and early signs of aging, ClearSilk delivers progressive, cumulative results through advanced non-ablative laser technology. At Victoria Park Medispa, ClearSilk is offered within our suite of premium laser rejuvenation treatments, administered by medically trained professionals who understand both the science and the artistry of beautiful skin.

The ClearSilk laser is a non-invasive, non-ablative laser treatment that delivers targeted energy beneath the skin’s surface. Unlike traditional lasers that cause visible peeling or disruption, ClearSilk gently heats the dermis to trigger natural collagen remodeling and reduce vascular congestion, all while maintaining an intact skin barrier. It is especially suited for clients seeking improvement in redness, flushing, dullness, uneven tone, and early skin laxity. A true “lunchtime laser,” ClearSilk requires no anesthetic and no recovery time. Many describe it as relaxing and glow-enhancing, with results that become more visible with each session.
What is ClearSilk Laser?

Technology

Developed by Sciton, a global leader in energy-based aesthetic systems, the ClearSilk laser uses a 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength to penetrate the dermis with controlled thermal energy. This dual-action approach targets both redness and skin aging. The vascular normalization reduces dilated capillaries and visible redness, offering relief for rosacea and flushing. Simultaneously, the heat stimulates fibroblast activity, encouraging the skin to produce more collagen and elastin for firmer, smoother texture.

Because the treatment is non-ablative, it does not break the skin or require downtime. Instead, it works gradually by activating the body’s natural regenerative processes.

BEFORE THE TREATMENT

To ensure the best possible results, your provider will review your skincare regimen and make personalized recommendations. In general, it is important to avoid direct sun exposure for at least two to four weeks before your session. Skincare products containing exfoliating agents such as retinol, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid should be paused three to five days prior to your appointment. Inform your provider of any medications or supplements that may increase skin sensitivity or bruising.

On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean, product-free skin. For men, preparation also requires shaving on the day of treatment.

DURING THE TREATMENT

Your ClearSilk session begins with a gentle cleanse of the skin. Protective eyewear is provided, and your technician will perform slow, even passes with the ClearSilk handpiece. Most clients describe the sensation as warm and calming, similar to a hot stone massage. There is no discomfort, and no need for numbing. Treatment typically takes between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.

After THE TREATMENT

Following your session, your skin may appear lightly flushed, much like a post-exercise glow. This usually subsides within one to two hours. There is no peeling or irritation, and no disruption to your skin barrier.

You may resume your regular skincare and makeup routine the same day. However, sun protection becomes especially important. Apply a broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every morning, and avoid intense sun exposure for at least one week. Hydrating and soothing products will support your skin’s healing process. Results continue to improve with each session, gradually revealing clearer, more luminous skin.

FAQ

Got questions about the ClearSilk laser? We’ve got your answers here

Who is a good candidate for ClearSilk laser treatment?

ClearSilk is a gentle and versatile laser treatment that is well suited for individuals seeking to improve redness, pigmentation, dullness, or uneven skin tone without downtime. It is an excellent option for people with sensitive skin who may not tolerate more aggressive lasers, as well as those with early signs of aging, enlarged pores, or mild skin laxity. If you are looking for a safe and comfortable treatment that delivers a natural glow and can be repeated regularly, ClearSilk may be the right choice for you.

What conditions can ClearSilk laser treat?

ClearSilk is a versatile laser treatment that can address many different skin concerns. It is especially effective for reducing redness and rosacea, calming flushing or visible capillaries, and improving post-inflammatory erythema caused by acne. ClearSilk also helps with mild pigmentation, uneven skin tone, dullness, enlarged pores, and mild skin laxity. Over time, it can provide gentle improvement of scars. Because it is non-ablative and gentle, ClearSilk is an excellent choice for sensitive skin types that may not tolerate more aggressive lasers.

How many treatments will I need?

Most clients begin with a series of four to six treatments spaced three to four weeks apart. Maintenance sessions every three to six months help extend and enhance results over time.

Is ClearSilk safe for all skin tones?

Yes. The 1064 nm wavelength used in Sciton ClearSilk is safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types, including darker complexions that are typically more sensitive to laser energy.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime associated with ClearSilk. Any mild redness typically resolves within a few hours, allowing you to return to your day immediately.

Can ClearSilk be combined with other treatments?

ClearSilk is frequently combined with treatments like BBL, Moxi, Halo, or microneedling. Profractional laser is another great treatment combination option for acne scars. During your consultation, your provider will create a tailored plan based on your goals.

Will it help with acne scars or wrinkles?

ClearSilk improves tone, texture, and luminosity, but deeper wrinkles or scarring may require more intensive modalities such as HALO or Morpheus8. ClearSilk remains a beautiful complement to these treatments in a comprehensive rejuvenation plan.
