Non-invasive solution
AviClear™ is an acne laser treatment offered at Victoria Park Medispa that targets the root cause of acne: the sebaceous glands responsible for excess oil production. Using a precise 1726 nm wavelength, the laser gradually reduces sebum production to help minimize breakouts and prevent future flare-ups. The treatment protocol typically includes three sessions spaced several weeks apart, with AviCool™ cooling technology to ensure comfort during the procedure. Non-invasive and medication-free, AviClear is suitable for both teens and adults and safe for all skin types and tones.
At our clinic, AviClear™ treatments are performed under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist, ensuring expert assessment, personalized treatment planning, and comprehensive acne care.

Offered under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist at our clinic, AviClear™ uses targeted laser technology to directly treat the sebaceous glands responsible for acne. Controlled laser energy is delivered to regulate oil production without damaging the skin’s surface. This approach helps progressively improve skin clarity and restore a healthier-looking complexion.
This treatment is postponed during pregnancy.
Any active skin infection (unrelated to acne) or active skin cancer should be evaluated before treatment.
The use of photosensitizing medications, recent isotretinoin treatment, or a recent sunburn may require postponing the treatment. Heavily tanned skin should also be evaluated.

AviClear™ laser treatment is suitable for many individuals with mild, moderate, or severe acne who are looking for a long-term, drug-free acne treatment. Yes. AviClear™ laser targets the sebaceous glands responsible for excess oil production, addressing one of the root causes of inflammatory acne. By reducing sebum production, the treatment helps decrease active breakouts and improve overall skin clarity.
Clinical studies have shown remarkable and long-lasting results, including up to a 93% reduction in inflammatory acne nodules in patients with moderate to severe acne, observed up to six months after completing treatment.
Yes. AviClear™ is commonly used to treat hormonal acne because hormonal breakouts are closely associated with excess sebum production. By selectively targeting overactive sebaceous glands, AviClear may help reduce recurring hormonal and cystic acne breakouts.
Most patients follow a treatment protocol of three AviClear laser sessions, typically spaced several weeks apart. Your provider may adjust the treatment plan depending on the severity of your acne and your individual response.
Acne improvement occurs gradually. Some patients notice changes after the first treatment, while optimal results continue to develop over the following months as oil production decreases and inflammation subsides.
Some patients may experience a temporary increase in breakouts early in the treatment process. This is generally short-lived, and the skin continues to improve as treatment progresses.
Many patients continue to experience clearer skin for 12 months or longer after completing treatment. Results vary depending on your skin, hormonal factors, and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments may be recommended for some individuals.
No acne treatment can guarantee permanent results. However, AviClear™ provides long-lasting improvement by treating the sebaceous glands responsible for excess oil production. Many patients enjoy significant acne reduction for a year or longer following treatment.
AviClear™ is generally considered an aesthetic treatment and is not covered by most insurance plans. However, some plans may provide partial reimbursement in specific situations.
At Victoria Park Medispa, if AviClear™ is prescribed by one of our physicians, applicable taxes may be waived. Flexible financing options are also available to help make treatment more accessible.
Yes. AviClear™ laser can often be combined with medical-grade skincare products, chemical peels, or other physician-recommended acne treatments to further improve skin clarity and long-term results.
