Moxi Laser

Non-invasive solution

You may have started noticing small changes in your skin: pigmentation that wasn’t there before, a loss of clarity, or the faint appearance of fine lines. These subtle shifts can make you feel less like yourself, especially if you’re someone who’s always prioritized self-care and proactive beauty choices.

Moxi laser treatment is designed for moments just like these. Whether you’re taking a preventative approach or looking to maintain healthy, radiant skin, Moxi delivers visible results with minimal disruption to your daily life. More and more people are turning to Moxi because it works in harmony with your skin, not against it. It refreshes your complexion without the harshness or downtime associated with more aggressive lasers, making it a favorite among those who want effective results without compromise.

At Victoria Park Medispa, we understand that taking care of your skin is not just about correction. It’s about protecting what you have and elevating how you feel. Moxi is a powerful, modern solution that meets you where you are in your skin journey.

Moxi is a non-ablative fractional laser that revitalizes skin by targeting early signs of damage. It works beneath the surface to stimulate collagen and encourage cellular renewal, improving texture, tone, and clarity. Unlike traditional resurfacing lasers, Moxi is designed for all skin types and can be used year-round. It is particularly appealing for individuals seeking prejuvenation, a preventative strategy to delay the signs of aging before they become more prominent. Moxi is often described as a “starter laser,” but its results speak for themselves. Clients love the refreshed glow, refined pores, smoother texture, and overall improvement in skin luminosity.
What is Moxi Laser?

Moxi is a non-ablative fractional laser that revitalizes skin by targeting early signs of damage. It works beneath the surface to stimulate collagen and encourage cellular renewal, improving texture, tone, and clarity.

Moxi is often described as a “starter laser,” but its results speak for themselves. Clients love the refreshed glow, refined pores, smoother texture, and overall improvement in skin luminosity.

Technology

Moxi uses a 1927 nm non-ablative diode laser to create microthermal zones within the upper layers of the skin. These microscopic injuries trigger the body’s natural repair response, stimulating new collagen production while gently resurfacing the skin.

Because the laser is non-ablative, it does not remove layers of skin. This makes it significantly less invasive than traditional ablative lasers like CO2 or even hybrid options like HALO. The treatment is fully customizable in intensity, allowing your provider to tailor the session based on your skin condition, goals, and desired level of downtime.

Moxi’s versatility makes it an ideal option whether you’re beginning a skin care plan or looking to maintain and extend the results of previous treatments.

BEFORE THE TREATMENT

Before your Moxi session, you will meet with one of our expert providers for a full skin assessment. We will take time to understand your skin concerns and treatment goals, and design a plan that aligns with your lifestyle and comfort level.

For lighter treatments, numbing cream is not typically required, although it can be applied for added comfort. The skin will be cleansed and prepped prior to the procedure.

DURING THE TREATMENT

A typical Moxi session takes between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the area treated. As the laser glides over your skin, you may feel a warming or prickling sensation. Most patients describe it as a mild to moderate discomfort that is well tolerated, especially with topical numbing if used.

The sensation is a sign that the laser is working within the skin to stimulate renewal and refresh the surface.

After THE TREATMENT

Immediately following the treatment, your skin may appear pink or flushed, similar to a light sunburn. Mild to moderate redness and swelling are common for the first 1 to 2 days. In the days that follow, you may experience a sandpaper-like texture as the skin naturally exfoliates, along with 7 to 10 days of “microcrusting.” These tiny rough spots, known as MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris), are part of the skin’s natural renewal process and typically resolve on their own.

Most patients are able to resume normal activities the same day, with only minor adjustments to their skin care routine. During this phase, sunscreen, hydration, and gentle products are essential to support healing.

Visible results often appear within one week, with continued improvement over the following weeks. A series of treatments is recommended for optimal results.

FAQ

Got questions about the Halo Moxi? We’ve got your answers here

Who is a good candidate for Moxi laser?

Moxi is ideal for individuals seeking a gentle yet effective option to refresh and protect their skin. It works well for those with uneven tone, early sun damage, pigmentation, melasma, freckles, enlarged pores, dull or tired-looking skin, fine lines, or rough texture. Younger clients often choose Moxi for prejuvenation, while others use it for maintenance after more intensive treatments. Because it can be safely used on the face, neck, chest, and hands, Moxi suits anyone wanting to maintain healthy, radiant skin with minimal downtime.

How much does Moxi laser treatment cost?

Pricing typically starts at $600 per session, with package pricing available for a series of treatments. Your provider will customize a treatment plan and quote during your consultation.

Is Moxi laser painful?

Most clients describe the sensation as mild to moderate heat or a light prickling. Topical numbing can be used for added comfort. Compared to more aggressive lasers, Moxi is considered very tolerable.

Can Moxi laser make melasma worse?

When performed by trained professionals using conservative settings, Moxi is generally safe for melasma-prone skin. A personalized consultation is essential to ensure suitability and reduce risk.

Does Moxi laser tighten skin?

Moxi can improve skin firmness over time by stimulating collagen, but it is not primarily a skin-tightening treatment. For more pronounced tightening, we may recommend combining Moxi with other technologies.

How often should I get Moxi laser treatments?

We usually recommend 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments can be done seasonally or as needed to preserve results.

How long do the results from Moxi laser last?

Results are long-lasting with proper skincare and sun protection. Collagen continues to build over time, and many patients choose periodic maintenance treatments to keep their skin radiant year-round.

Is Moxi laser worth it?

Yes. Moxi is an excellent option for those seeking visible skin renewal without significant downtime. It’s especially valued for its versatility, gentle nature, and suitability for ongoing maintenance and prevention.
