Dr.Tyler Safran

Dr. Tyler Safran is a double board-certified plastic surgeon recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Born and raised in Montreal, he earned his medical degree from McGill University and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the McGill University Health Centre.

Throughout his training, Dr. Safran distinguished himself through academic excellence, technical skill, and dedication to patient care. He received numerous awards, including the Benjamin Shore Research Award for outstanding research productivity, the Ross Adair Memorial Award for excellence in teaching, and the Luong T. Nguyen Award for top resident performance.

To further refine his expertise, Dr. Safran completed two internationally recognized fellowship programs. He first trained in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Southern California in Beverly Hills, where he worked alongside world-leading surgeons and mastered advanced techniques in deep-plane facelifting, high-definition body contouring, and rapid recovery breast augmentation. He then completed a second fellowship in Breast Reconstruction and Microsurgery at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in complex reconstructive procedures that combine meticulous precision with an artistic approach to achieve the most natural results possible.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Safran is dedicated to research and innovation in plastic surgery. He is the author of more than 80 scientific publications and book chapters, has presented internationally, and serves as a reviewer for leading journals such as Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. His master’s thesis in Experimental Surgery at McGill, a randomized clinical trial on improving outcomes in breast reconstruction, earned multiple awards from major North American surgical associations.

Today, Dr. Safran practices at Victoria Park Medispa’s flagship Westmount location, where he offers cosmetic injections, liposuction, breast surgery, and complex reconstruction. Known for his precision, artistry, and compassionate approach, he combines world-class training with a refined aesthetic vision to deliver natural, balanced, and lasting results for each patient.
