Dr.Erik Hegmann

Dr. Hegmann is a family physician who has been practicing aesthetic medicine and laser treatment in Kanata since 2004. Patients appreciate his friendly yet professional attitude. His gentle, meticulous approach to treatment has made him one of the leading cosmetic injection physicians in the Ottawa area.

Before embarking on his medical career, Dr. Hegmann obtained a Master of Science degree and specialized in cancer research at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto. While working on his Master’s degree, he published several articles and traveled extensively to present the results of his research. He then enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, graduating with honours in 1996 and completing his residency in Family Medicine at Scarborough General Hospital.
