Dr.Lily Xu

Dr. Lily Xu is a dedicated family physician with a special interest in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She earned her medical degree from McMaster University and completed her family medicine residency at Queen’s University, where she gained extensive experience in minor procedures and developed a strong foundation in skin health. To further refine her expertise, she completed advanced training through the Practical Dermatology Program at Cardiff University and remains an active member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada.

Since completing her studies, Dr. Xu has been committed to providing medical care in rural and remote communities across Canada, particularly in regions with limited resources and high medical needs. Her clinical versatility and compassionate, patient-centered approach have made her a trusted and respected professional in underserved areas. Alongside her practice, she actively participates in research on various dermatological conditions and stays up to date with the latest advancements in the field.

An artist at heart, Dr. Xu brings a refined aesthetic sensibility to her medical practice, combining scientific precision with creativity. A recipient of several national distinctions, she has a deep understanding of the connection between self-image, identity, and confidence. Her approach to aesthetic medicine is natural, respectful, and focused on enhancing each individual’s unique beauty.

She will be offering the following procedures (private pay):

• Aesthetic growth removal of skin tags
• Benign moles
• Cysts
• Cauterization and cryotherapy of benign lesions
• Steroid injections for keloids

Note: These procedures are not covered by OHIP and are billed as private dermatology services.
