Non-invasive solution
Forever Young BBL™, offered at Victoria Park Medispa, is a photorejuvenation treatment that uses broadband light (BBL) technology to improve the appearance and overall health of the skin. This light energy penetrates different layers of the skin to target pigmentation, redness, and uneven tone while stimulating collagen production. The process helps the skin naturally regenerate, restoring firmness and radiance. The skin appears smoother, brighter, and visibly rejuvenated with little to no downtime, and studies show that regular treatments may help maintain a look up to 10 years younger.*
Very popular among women, Forever Young BBL™ helps improve the appearance of sun damage, pigmentation, redness, and early signs of aging. By supporting the skin’s natural renewal process, it promotes a brighter, more even, and youthful-looking complexion.
Increasingly popular among men, Forever Young BBL™ helps improve the appearance of sun damage, redness, uneven skin tone, and visible signs of aging. The treatment promotes healthier-looking skin and a more refreshed, energized appearance while maintaining natural, masculine features.

Forever Young BBL™ uses targeted pulses of light to address visible signs of skin aging. This technology helps treat pigmentation irregularities, redness, and supports the skin’s natural renewal processes. Over time, this approach contributes to improved radiance, a more even complexion, and enhanced overall skin quality.
This treatment is postponed during pregnancy.
Active skin disorders, including infections (not related to acne), inflammatory skin conditions, or active skin cancer, must be evaluated before the session.
Photosensitizing medications, a recent sunburn, or heavily tanned skin may require temporary postponement.

Results can be seen within days following the first session and continue to improve progressively after each treatment.
Some studies¹ suggest that patients who undergo regular BBL treatments may appear up to ten years younger than their actual age. We recommend our corrective “Forever Young BBL” program, which includes three treatments spaced one month apart.
For optimal results, a series of four sessions combined with a medical-grade facial is recommended.

Forever Young BBL™ can effectively treat sunspots, sun damage, post-inflammatory pigmentation, and freckles. Unfortunately, melasma cannot be treated with BBL.
One of the key advantages of BBL is its ability to also address redness, including diffuse redness (erythema) and visible blood vessels, while stimulating collagen and elastin to restore the skin’s glow and firmness.

BBL is based on a technology called selective photothermolysis. Pulsed light is delivered through the BBL handpiece and absorbed by melanin (responsible for brown spots) and oxyhemoglobin (responsible for redness and visible vessels).
When a pigmented spot absorbs the light, the generated heat breaks down the melanin without damaging surrounding tissue. The fragmented pigment is then naturally eliminated by the body.
At the same time, collagen and elastin are stimulated, promoting the formation of stronger, healthier skin cells.

Forever Young BBL™ is an advanced evolution of traditional Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology. Victoria Park Medispa was among the first in Canada to adopt IPL before transitioning to BBL.
BBL allows for the treatment of multiple skin concerns using a single handpiece with various wavelengths, targeting different depths of the skin. This enables a highly personalized treatment approach based on your specific needs.
Unlike traditional IPL, which typically uses one or two wavelengths, BBL offers up to six passes with different wavelengths. This allows practitioners to gradually heat the skin and treat it layer by layer, resulting in greater precision, improved comfort, and more tailored results.
A series of 3 to 4 treatments, spaced a few weeks apart, is generally recommended for optimal results.
Pigmented spots do not disappear immediately. Following treatment, brown spots may temporarily darken before gradually flaking away or fading over the following days and weeks as the body naturally eliminates the treated pigment.
Forever Young BBL™ can be used both to correct visible signs of aging and sun damage and to help prevent the development of future skin concerns over time.
