Vascular Laser Treatments

SCROLL TO LEARN MORE

Vascular laser treatments, offered at Victoria Park Medispa, use light energy to target visible veins and redness in the skin. The heat causes the affected blood vessels to close, after which the body naturally eliminates them, leaving the skin clearer and more even in tone. Depending on your needs, advanced technologies such as ClearV, Excel V, or VBeam may be used, each designed to treat different types of veins, redness, and skin tones. Every treatment is personalized to ensure precise, safe, and effective results.

      FAQ

Got questions about Vascular Laser Treatments? We’ve got your answers here!

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR VASCULAR LASER TREATMENT?

Vascular laser treatments are best suited for individuals looking to reduce visible blood vessels, redness, or vascular skin lesions with minimal downtime. They are commonly used for spider veins, facial telangiectasia, rosacea-related redness, cherry angiomas, venous lakes, certain vascular birthmarks, and post-inflammatory erythema. If you are healthy and want to improve these concerns, you may be a good candidate.

DOES VASCULAR LASER TREATMENT WORK FOR ROSACEA?

Yes. Vascular laser treatment is one of the most effective non-surgical options for reducing the redness and visible blood vessels associated with rosacea. By targeting unwanted blood vessels while preserving the surrounding skin, the treatment helps improve overall skin tone and reduce persistent facial redness.

DOES VASCULAR LASER REMOVE BROKEN CAPILLARIES?

Yes. Vascular laser treatment selectively targets broken capillaries and small visible blood vessels using precise laser energy. Over time, the treated vessels are naturally reabsorbed by the body, resulting in a clearer, more even complexion.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR SPIDER VEINS TO DISAPPEAR AFTER VASCULAR LASER TREATMENT?

Spider veins typically begin to fade within 2 to 6 weeks after treatment. Full results may take up to 3 months or longer as your body gradually clears the treated vessels.

Some veins may temporarily darken before fading. Multiple sessions are often recommended for larger or deeper veins.

HOW MANY VASCULAR LASER TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?

The number of treatments depends on the condition being treated and its severity.

      - Facial redness and rosacea often require 2 to 4 treatments.
      - Spider veins typically require 1 to 3 treatments, spaced approximately 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Your provider will recommend a personalized treatment plan during your consultation.

      IS VASCULAR LASER TREATMENT SAFE?

Yes. Vascular laser treatment is a safe, non-invasive procedure when performed by trained medical professionals. Mild redness, warmth, or swelling may occur immediately after treatment and usually resolves within a few hours to a few days. Serious side effects are uncommon.

IS SCLEROTHERAPY OR VASCULAR LASER BETTER FOR SPIDER VEINS?

Both treatments are highly effective, but they are designed for different types of veins. Sclerotherapy is generally preferred for larger leg veins, while vascular laser treatment is often the best option for smaller spider veins, facial veins, and superficial blood vessels.

Your provider will recommend the most appropriate treatment based on the location, size, and depth of the veins.

      WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Results develop gradually as the treated blood vessels are naturally eliminated by the body. Many patients notice improvement within a few weeks, with continued clearing over the following months.

CAN REDNESS OR SPIDER VEINS RETURN AFTER TREATMENT?

The treated blood vessels do not return. However, new blood vessels may develop over time due to genetics, sun exposure, aging, rosacea, or other underlying factors. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to preserve your results.

CAN VASCULAR LASER TREATMENT BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?

Yes. Vascular laser treatment can be combined with other aesthetic treatments to improve overall skin quality, reduce pigmentation, enhance skin texture, and achieve more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER VASCULAR LASER TREATMENT?

Most patients return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Mild redness or slight swelling may occur but typically resolves quickly. Your provider will give you personalized aftercare instructions based on your treatment.
