Dr.Alison Spurr

Dr.  Alison Spurr earned her medical degree from Dalhousie University in 2018 and completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of Ottawa. Her journey into medicine followed her completion of a law degree and was sparked by a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives daily.

Specializing in Dermatology, with a particular interest in medical aesthetics, Dr. Spurr values treatments like neuromodulators for their transformative yet natural results, aiming to help patients enhance their individual beauty. Her philosophy centers on highlighting each patient’s unique features to achieve a refreshed and natural appearance.

Dr. Spurr takes pride in pioneering the first clinic in Eastern Ontario that specializes in the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory and scarring skin condition. Looking ahead, she aims to contribute to the field by mentoring future dermatologists, inspired by the mentors who guided her career.

Patients describe Dr. Spurr as friendly, empathetic, and a good listener, reflecting a caring approach that extends beyond the clinic. Outside of medicine, Dr. Spurr cherishes family time and exploring new places with her two active young daughters.
