Get rid of stubborn fat with CoolSculpting

In a recent article published in Coup de Pouce (in French only), Publication Director Geneviève Guertin visited the beautiful Victoria Park Medispa in Laval, lead by our amazing Dr. Leblanc and shared her positive CoolSculpting experience.

WHAT IS COOLSCULPTING?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical treatment that targets and freezes the “stubborn, won’t go away” areas of fat to help you achieve your ideal body. Hence it has become the world’s #1 non-invasive fat reduction procedure. In this blog, we will tell you a little bit more about the technology behind Coolsculpting and her experience at Victoria Park Medispa. Keep on reading to find out more!

THE TECHNOLOGY

Coolsculpting is a non-surgical body contouring treatment developed by Harvard scientists that can freeze and remove fat from your body. It’s based on the science of cryolipolysis. Cryolipolysis uses cold temperatures to freeze and permanently destroy fat cells. CoolSculpting is specifically designed to treat stubborn fat around the stomach, flanks, back, inner thighs as well as in select smaller areas like arms, knees, and under the chin.

COOLSCULPTING: THE FAT REDUCTION TREATMENT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

With CoolSculpting, you can expect a reduction of up to 27% in the volume of fatty deposits in the treated areas, after a single treatment. Full results can take up to three months but are well worth the wait.

DR. LEBLANC, PLASTIC SURGEON AND HEAD MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL OF VICTORIA PARK MEDISPA LAVAL, EXPLAINS COOLSCULPTING TO COUP DE POUCE:

“The body is sculpted by the cold. This controlled cooling technology targets fat cells under the skin to freeze them, allowing the body to gradually eliminate them, without damaging the surrounding tissues; it is as if the cells were melting like snow in the sun.”

During the consultation with one of our skilled and personable technicians, Geneviève felt confident about the process, having been explained the procedure in detail. She described the sensation of CoolSculpting as an intense cold, which dissipated after a few minutes. After her first session, Geneviève was able to immediately return to her normal day, including physical activity.

The Victoria Park touch: a technician called the following day to follow up with Geneviève and make sure she was doing well. The best part? She noticed that her waistline had already slimmed down!

At Victoria Park, we work with patients to understand their goals in order to develop a personalized treatment plan that will yield the desired results.
