Skin Booster Injections

Non-invasive solution
Restore hydration and get your glow on with Skin boosters

Youthful, healthy-looking skin is the ultimate Holy Grail. We’re all chasing that envious glow and firmness our skin had in our younger years. However, as we age, our skin’s texture changes, often appearing duller and more tired than before.

That’s owed to the natural decline in collagen production, a crucial protein in our skin’s structure.

What if there was a way to turn back the clock, enhance skin texture, and reclaim your dewy, lit-from-within skin? Skin boosters might just be your secret weapon.

Achieve true radiance–and no one has to know how. Skin boosters are  a type of dermal filler formulated to improve skin hydration, firmness, and luminosity. Across our clinics in Canada, we offer some of the most trusted and well-established injectable brands in the industry, including Restylane®, Vital™, Vital Light™, Teosyal®, Redensity® 1, Juvéderm® Volite, and SkinVive™ by Juvéderm®.

To achieve these desirable results, your Victoria Park Medispa expert injects a very thin amount of hyaluronic acid filler into the skin. The product then naturally integrates into the skin, delivering dewy, radiant results. The treatment works for areas such as the face, upper neck, and even the back of the hands. So, what distinguishes skin boosters and traditional dermal fillers? Although both dermal fillers and skin boosters are formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA), that’s about where the similarities end. Dermal fillers are better suited for patients who want to sculpt their face, restore lost volume, add structure, or plump their pouts. Skin boosters, on the other hand, contain smaller amounts of HA and are injected directly into or below the surface of the skin. Skin boosters aren’t just for aging skin, either. This is the type of treatment that caters to even the twentysomething crowd looking to achieve the appearance of “glass skin.”

Technology

At Victoria Park Medispa, we use only the most advanced skin boosters available in Canada. Each one is carefully selected for its ability to improve hydration, texture, and overall skin quality while blending naturally into your skin for a smooth, radiant finish.

Restylane® Skinboosters
This includes Vital™ and Vital Light™, two skin boosters designed to enhance elasticity, tone, and glow. They are especially effective in areas that tend to show early signs of aging, such as the face, neck, and décolletage. These treatments support healthier-looking skin that feels smooth, supple, and refreshed.

Teosyal® Redensity® 1
A skin booster that combines hyaluronic acid with antioxidants and amino acids to restore brightness and improve texture. Redensity® 1 is often used in delicate areas like the under-eyes and cheeks, where skin can become dry or crepey, helping to restore a more even, radiant appearance.

Juvéderm® Volite
Volite is a long-lasting skin booster that hydrates from within and improves skin smoothness and elasticity for up to nine months. It is ideal for patients looking to refresh their skin without adding volume or committing to frequent appointments.

SkinVive™ by Juvéderm®
SkinVive™ is the latest injectable skin booster in the Juvéderm® family. It improves cheek smoothness and overall skin glow by delivering microdroplets of hyaluronic acid directly into the skin. The result is a natural, radiant look with minimal downtime and no added fullness.

BefoRe THE TREATMENT

Considering minimally-invasive, anti-aging skin treatments? Book an in-person consultation. At your appointment, a Victoria Park Medispa expert will walk you through the process of a Skinboosters treatment. They will then decide whether this is the right option for you based on your aspirations.

During THE TREATMENT

Overall, you’ll find the skin boosters procedure to be quite straightforward. Unlike with traditional dermal fillers, which involve adding volume or reshaping facial structure, skin boosters all about achieving radiant skin. Your Victoria Park Medispa expert will inject the product using small, gentle jabs, dispersing the product just below the surface of the skin. The whole process should take, on average, approximately thirty minutes to an hour, at most.

After THE TREATMENT

Some minor swelling or bruising is completely normal right after treatment. Complete results may take a few days, up to evena few weeks, to appear. Most patients say they really begin to notice bright, renewed skin and overall improvement to skin firmness in the first few days after treatment. Beyond that, other results include:

  • A renewed, refreshed complexion
  • Minimized appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improved skin elasticity and firmed texture

Related Conditions

If you’re looking for natural, refreshed, and semi-permanent results—like you’ve just had the most moisturizing facial with lingering effect—skin boosters can help you shine. We will recommend skin boosters for anyone looking to address conditions such as:

  • A loss of skin elasticity
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin texture or tone or a dull, lackluster skin
  • A reduced skin firmness
  • Rough skin texture
  • Early signs of aging
  • Fine lines around the eyes and the mouth
  • Aging skin on the neck and décolleté—some even consider this treatment to be skin care for aging necks

FAQ

Got questions about Skin Booster Injections? We’ve got your answers here

What’s the price for a skin booster?

Skin booster treatments start at around $550, but prices can vary depending on your provider and treatment plan.

What areas can I treat?

Skin boosters can help refresh the skin in the face (lower cheek and jawline), neck and back of the hands.

What is the difference between fillers and skin boosters?

Fillers are used to add volume, contour the face, and fill deeper lines or folds. They are often made of hyaluronic acid and are injected deeper into the skin to lift cheeks, define the jawline, or plump lips. Skin boosters, on the other hand, are not designed to fill or reshape. They are injected more superficially to hydrate the skin, improve texture and elasticity, and stimulate long-term collagen and elastin production. The result is smoother, firmer, more radiant skin with a dewy glow. Skin boosters are popular for achieving a “glass skin” effect and can be combined with other treatments for enhanced results.

How long does a treatment last?

Following the initial treatment, the long-lasting Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in skin boosters will provide hydration and can continue to last for 6-12 months to give your skin a wonderful glow. Maintenance is always recommended with HA products for continued benefits and improving results.

Why should I care about who performs my treatment

At Victoria Park Medispa, we believe that all injectable treatments should be performed by physician specialists – board-certified plastic surgeons, general practitioners who specialize in aesthetics, dermatologists, and registered nurses. Our physicians are not only specialists, they are trainers of other physicians in Montreal and around the world. We believe their extensive medical and aesthetic training on the skin and the structure of the face can ensure the most natural looking and best possible rejuvenating result.
