Your Victoria Park Medispa expert will apply a topical numbing cream to ensure minimal pain throughout the experience. Depending on your needs or aspirations, treatments lasts about 30 minutes. For the most part, treatments for pigmentation may take one or two visits. Treatments for texture, on the other hand—like scars, stretch marks, and wrinkles—may take up to four sessions in total.
Following treatment, some downtime is necessary. Clients should plan for three to seven days of rest while they experience a “sunburn-like” redness. This irritation is the skin healing itself, allowing rejuvenated skin to shine through. Multiple treatments will be scheduled at four-week intervals. You’ll have to steer clear of the sun in between treatments, and be very diligent about sun protection going forward.
