Dermatology in Winnipeg Grant

Medical & cosmetic care, guided by referral requirementsSCROLL TO LEARN MORE

At Victoria Park Medispa Winnipeg Grant, board-certified dermatologist Dr. Victoria Taraska provides personalized care for both medical and cosmetic skin concerns. Medical dermatology includes the assessment and treatment of conditions such as skin cancer, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne, while cosmetic dermatology offers a range of treatments designed to support your skin and aesthetic goals.

Medical dermatology consultations require a referral from a family physician or walk-in clinic and are billed through Manitoba Health for eligible patients. Do I need a referral to see Dr. Taraska for a skin concern?

Yes, for medical dermatology. A referral letter from your family physician or walk-in clinic is required for concerns like skin cancer, psoriasis, rosacea, or acne. Once received, the team contacts you to schedule your appointment.

Can I book a cosmetic dermatology treatment without a referral?

Yes. Treatments such as Botox®, dermal fillers, lasers, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion are private-pay and do not require a referral.

ARE MEDICAL DERMATOLOGY CONSULTATIONS COVERED BY MANITOBA HEALTH?

Medical consultations are billed through Manitoba Health when you have a valid provincial health card. Without provincial coverage, you're responsible for the consultation fee.

No. These services are not offered at Winnipeg Grant. We recommend speaking with your family physician about the appropriate next steps.
